We are crafting this month’s cocktail series with fresh spring flavors, clarified citrus, and a sparkling brut rose to rock into longer days and spring around the corner!

We are showcasing three very different styles in this limited release:

• Our Proper Version is the standard recipe for this month

• An Elevated Version uses advanced techniques and a commonly found perishable ingredient that we are unable to safely provide

• A Modified Version uses some of the ingredients from the proper version, but changes up the recipe and technique to create a completely different cocktail experience

Each crate provides ingredients for a total of 4 cocktails with the spirits provided from our partners at La Bodega. We throw in a little extra of our handcrafted mixers, just in case you want to experiment and make a few more cocktails…

Cocktail styles: This month’s cocktail series features a bright refreshing cocktail with a bit of a punk rock vibe, a stirred cocktail using clarified citrus, and a fizz style that incorporates egg white with the sparkling brut rose

Flavor profile: Fresh bright citrus, fruit, and mint notes are prevalent through the entire series, but the use of a lactic clarification on the lemon and grapefruit creates a soft silky texture and mouthfeel to the cocktails

Spirit Base: This cocktail series uses a new world style gin and sparkling brut rose at its base to play with the fresh fruit and herbal notes and keep all of the styles bright and tart

Bartender techniques: The three separate techniques to craft three unique cocktails! We are using a classic shake technique for our Proper version, a dry shake technique for our Elevated version, and a classic stir method for the Modified version!

Final thoughts…

We designed this cocktail specifically with whiskey in mind! However, as with all spirits, that may not be someone’s individual preference. This cocktail would also work incredibly well with a blackstrap style rum if you want to experiment with a different spirit base!
